Service of Arbitration and Mediation(SAM) is an institution that is based at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the aim to promote and foster the alternative non-judicial means to resolving conflicts by negotiation, mediation andarbitration (commonly referred to as ADR). Furthermore SAM mediators and arbitrators are fully trained and experienced to provide profesional and cost effective dispute resolution services in general, but with particularly emphasis on businesses and companies, universities. In addition SAM provides expert training to those engaged in dispute resolution be it in the work place or so other form. All our mediators and trainers are fully qualified with many years experience at both national and internation level.

We work to resolve conflicts,. To this end, within SAM we have created a Mediation Center and a Court of Arbitration, where the appointment of mediators and arbitrators shall take place. All applications for mediation and arbitration shall be processed by experienced administrative Support staff until a matter is resolved or an arbitration award made.
